Alta Ski Area is nestled at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon deep in the Wasatch mountains in Utah, known around the globe for its powder skiing. With an annual snowfall average of 547”, powder days are a way of life here. Only 32 miles from Salt Lake City airport, accessing Alta's beautiful scenery, diverse terrain and notorious powder skiing, is quick and easy!
