It is of utmost importance to Rippin Chix that the wellbeing and safety of guests, staff, and those in the communities in which we operate, be at the forefront of our operations. Despite the global challenges and subsequent changes these challenges have created, we are committed and determined to provide participants with a safe and fun environment at all our camps.
We have created some policies and guidelines and will be following provincial and federal public and occupational health and safety requirements and recommendations.
We are putting our best foot forward to support our participants, staff, and those in the communities we operate in a time where things are continuously changing. In doing so, we ask that you bear in mind the need for flexibility as things change, compassion for the circumstances of those different than your own, and an awareness of how your health and well-being affect those you interact with at our camps.
Screening: We expect all participants and staff to self-screen before camp but will also be verbally screened upon arrival of camp with the following
Physical Distancing: We expect all participants and staff to practice physical distancing in all relevant circumstances and when physical distancing is not possible, such as in first aid.
Personal Protective Equipment: (PPE)
Demo Equipment: We have demo skis available upon request and at certain camp locations. Participants are asked to book in advance to allow adequate time to safely set up equipment.
The Rippin Chix COVID-19 guidelines and policies have been put in place to complement those of the locations in which we will be operating this winter. If you would like more specific details into their individual COVID-19 policies and guidelines, please see the links below.

What to Expect at the Resort and FAQ’s (Covid-19)
Pre-camp communications include information on the above, as well as the ability to opt-out of camp due to the inability or unwillingness to comply with our standards. We have a generous cancellation policy for COVID-19 related matters so financial considerations align with safe behaviour.
All policies and procedures are designed to reduce the probability of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. However, they are not guaranteed to reduce virus transmission.
We continue to monitor recommendations and make changes as needed to ensure best practices are in place for the health and safety of our participants, staff, and the communities we are involved with. If you have any questions about the policies we have put in place please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly at info@rippinchix.com.
We thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and compassion while we do our best to provide an exceptional camp experience during these tough times and we look forward to a fun and safe camp season with you!
The Rippin Chix team,
Susan and Meredith
